The background here is commercial tenant improvement — national apparel and retail build-outs, the kind of work where a store has to open on a fixed date and the finish gets inspected by people who do this for a living. That leaves a mark. Schedules are real. Tolerances are real. A punch list is a document you close, not a suggestion you ignore.
Salty exists because that standard almost never makes it into residential work. Homeowners get ghosted, quoted in riddles, and handed a job that is ninety-five percent finished. Meanwhile the franchise options charge royalty on top of the same crews, and the homeowner pays for the logo.
So: no franchise, no royalties, no call centre. A licensed & insured team, based in Draper, doing handyman days, remodels, saunas and home care memberships — and taking the finish as seriously as the framing.
The slogan is the promise, roughly: Slightly salty. Extremely reliable. The salt is personality. The reliability is the product.
